This development is leading to an increase in research activity in these professions \/ disciplines. The International Journal of Health Professions IJHP supports this development.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Founded in 2014 by the (Association for the Advancement of Science in the Health Professions) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vfwg.info\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Verein zur F\u00f6rderung der Wissenschaft in den Gesundheitsberufen VFWG<\/a> (Association for the Advancement of Science in the Health Professions)<\/li>\n<li>one editor in chief each from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland<\/li>\n<li>funded by membership fees, donations, and grants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-jthep8gx-e440b68adb4e16bdeac04498c10349b8 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>There are differences in the education and regulations of health professions in the German-speaking countries.<\/p>\n<p>The IJHP addresses all healthcare professions with a university education (university or applied sciences).
