The International Journal of Health Professions IJHP is published by the Verein zur Förderung der Wissenschaft in den Gesundheitsberufen (VFWG) (Association for the Advancement of Science in the Health Professions). Funding is provided through membership fees, additional voluntary contributions by association members (primarily universities) as well as through foundation and research grants.

The purpose of the VFWG is to promote interdisciplinary and interprofessional science in the field of academic health professions. Further information is available on the website of the VFWG (in German only).
